Sacred Geometry

I have always been fascinated by geometric patterns and sacred geometry from a very early age. But it was only recently that I started to realize that everything is interconnected and I started to see geometric patterns while I was listening to the crystal singing bowl music during classes. That was also about the same time that I became fascinated with Tesla, and his research on frequency and geometry as “secrets to the universe.”

Many teachings have described Sacred Geometry as the blueprint of creation and the genesis, the origin of all form. Sacred geometry is considered an ancient science that explores and explains the energy patterns that create and unify all things and reveals the precise way that the energy of creation organizes itself. It is said that every natural pattern of growth or movement comes back to one or more geometric shapes.

From the author: “So this experiment is the Chladni plate experiment. I used a tone generator, a wave driver (speaker) and a metal plate attached to the speaker. First add sand to the plate then begin playing a tone. Certain frequencies vibrate the metal plate in such a way that it creates areas where there is no vibration. The sand "falls" into those areas, creating beautiful geometric patterns. This was really the catalyst for me to start to see things in a new light and that many of my early fascinations to these topics were now popping up in my life at this very synchronous time. I wanted to learn about everything so I started doing these deep dives into many of these topics and that how I started down that rabbit hole and was launched into my “awakening” journey.

This research opened so many doors once I understood all of these interconnections. The molecules of our DNA, the cornea of our eye, snowflakes, flower petals, crystals, a shell, the stars, the galaxy we spiral within, the air we breathe, and all life forms are created out of geometric codes!

The Golden Ratio establishes that the small is to the large as the large is to the whole. This is usually applied to proportions between segments. This ratio has been venerated by every culture in the planet. We can find it in art, music composition, even in the proportions of our own body, and elsewhere in Nature "hidden" behind the Fibonacci sequence. There are some examples of disciplines where the presence of the Golden Ratio was unsuspected until recently. Such is the case, for example, of Atomic Physics or DNA codon populations of the whole human genome. But there is one very special sequence that is closely related to the Golden Ratio, and this is the Fibonacci sequence (a0=1, a1=1): (Fibonacci sequence:1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34,55,…)

Drunvalo Melchizedek points out in his first book "The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life," that nature uses this property to construct sequences of lengths that converge to the Golden Ratio, such as in the distances between successive branches of a tree, or successive leaves in a branch, or the dimensions of our own body. Humans have known about the Golden Ratio for at least 4,000 years, or maybe even longer! Some of the latest research shows that it was used in the design of hieroglyphics found on tomb walls, and also in the construction of Egyptian pyramids and other ancient structures throughout the world.

The Great Pyramids of Giza may just be the most famous example of the Golden Ratio, although they certainly aren't the only ones to incorporate its beauty. Another outstanding example is the Parthenon of Ancient Greece, which has a frame that is a picturesque 1.618:1 ratio that you can also find in many paintings and photographs. The Parthenon being a stunning example of the Golden Ratio of course makes sense, as it was the famous Greek sculptor Phidias who is the namesake for phi.

I will expand on some of these principles in later posts, as the connection to these sacred geometric patterns can be seen in other areas as well.
