Synchronicity

I mentioned in my last post hat I have been noticing a ton of synchronicity in nature lately. To piggyback on this concept, I had the most amazing outing with my family today.

The day stared in a fury of house cleaning activities. This has become my new norm lately since our house has gone on the market earlier in the spring. What started out as a “just a few years” house became our “15 years later” house. There are so many aspects of the house that we absolutely love. This has been a struggle for me to reconcile the emotions around selling our home to buy something else that could potentially be our forever home. We signed the papers and have been going through the motions of purging, staging, and making sure the house is spotless at all times in case we get a request for a private showing. It has certainly been an interesting lesson in how to quickly make a house “show ready” - at least as much as possible with a 9 year old mini-me and two insane dogs running around. I digress.

So we performed a full 4-hour sweep of the house, inside and out, over the last two days in preparation for our open house today. Ty baked some chocolate chip cookies, and we vacated for the open house. After all that, we ended up with only one family that attended the open house. It’s a little bit of a let down after all the hard work we put in, but I try to remind myself that it the Universe is going to do it’s thing and I need to trust in that. I try to free myself from the added pressures of the “what if’s” - what if we lit some extra candles, or staged the living room differently, or what if they didn’t like the chocolate chip cookies we baked. Yes, this is literally the minutia that engulfs my daily thinking. One of the perks of being a highly sensitive / intuitive person. Yay.

We decided to go out to dinner for a break from house stuff and we ended up at our new favorite restaurant - Lucky Taco in Manchester. Not only is the food delicious, but the staff are all super friendly, and the energy is amazing. Our order of nachos ended up getting burned, and the manger (Tara) came over to let us know that they were going to make us a new dish, but wanted to apologize. We didn’t mind at all, and in fact, it was a nice change of pace to get dinner before nachos. When they arrived, I intuitively felt “they were worth the wait,” and told Tara so. I had a flash of inspiration and felt compelled to ask her if they had anything in the works for International Peace Day on September 21 since I am still looking for a location for the event that I am coordinating.

After our amazing meal, we strolled by the shops downtown and played Pokemon. Tyler ended up catching not one, but TWO shiny Pokemon while we were out. (Thanks, Universe)! I noticed all of the amazing shops and community atmosphere that had really great energy, similar to the Newport trip two days ago.

The fact that the entire day has culminated in synchronicity after synchronicity around everything I have been working on lately is confirmation that I am on the right path, whatever that may be. It is so inspiring to feel on a deeper level that things are making sense. The Universe is working it’s magic, and I am trusting in it’s course.
